Kenneth Miller Obituary

Kenneth Albert Miller, 76, passed away peacefully on May 19th, 2023, at Ashtabula County Medical Center.

He was born on November 15th, 1946, in Ashtabula, Ohio, the son of Henry and Leta (Hughart) Herman.

Ken graduated from high school in 1964 and went on to proudly serve his country by enlisting in the United States Navy.

He was an electrician by trade and worked for the Ford Axel Plant for twenty-five years before retiring in 2010.  He also drove a truck for Coca-Cola.

Ken enjoyed photography, gardening, firearms and riding his Honda Goldwing.

He is survived by his loving children, Tina (Chuck) Cox and Ken Miller; his grandchildren: Jeff Olschewski, Ashlee McGinnis (Sarah), Michael McGinnis and Andon Miller; his great-grandchild, August McGinnis, his nephews: Terry Dean, Kevin (Gloria) Dean and Jim (Traci) Dean and his best friend, Thomas “Perk” Miller.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Barbara Ward and David Miller.

He was laid to rest in Oakdale Cemetery at a private, family service.

Ken was a very generous man while living and he hopes to carry that on even after death by asking those who are interested in making a memorial contribution in his name to do so to the Animal Protective League or St. Jude’s Hospital.
