GENEVA - Kenneth R. Kangas, 71, passed away on May 18, 2021 under the compassionate care of Hospice of the Western Reserve.
He was born on December 18, 1949 in Ravenna, ohio the son of Andrew and Ruth (Drake) Kangas.
Kenny was a painter by trade and was regarded as one of the best. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and will be remembered as a friendly and kind hearted person. He was proud and loving dad and brother.
He is survived by his daughter Nina (Jason) Detore; his sister Jeannette (Jeff) Campbell; and his brothers: Bill (Collette) Kangas and Arnie (Cindy) Kangas.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents; his son Dana R. Kangas in 2015 his loving companion and life partner, Cathy Limpert; his sister Sarah (Gene) Beall and his brother Richard.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am at Fleming-Billman Funeral Home, 526 W. Prospect Rd Ashtabula; the family will have calling hours from 10:00-11:00.
