Justin Carl Kehres

JEFFERSON-Justin Kehres, 32, passed away in Richmond, Virginia on September 19, 2023.

Justin was born in Ashtabula on October 23, 1990 the son of Lisa Johnson and Kevin Kehres.  He was a longtime Jefferson resident and 2010 graduate of Jefferson High School who was currently living in Painesville and working in Lake County for Budzar Industries as a lead welder for the past 5 years.

Justin will always be remembered for his huge kind heart; for the love he had for his family, his loving companion Christin (together for the past 14 years), and for his daughter Serenity. Justin was also an avid fisherman, a man who loved his sweets and a good cup of coffee; he enjoyed playing "Dirt Ralley" on his computer and most recently Justin has been in the gym, nonstop, lifting weights.

He is survived by his loving family: his mother Lisa Johnson, his father Kevin Kehres, his loving companion, soulmate and bestfriend Christin Zermeno; his brothers: Josh Kehres, Jesse (Rachel) Kehres, and Jason (Julia) Kehres; his daughter Serenity "Reny" Long; his niece Audrey Kehres.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Lee and Anna Johnson and his paternal grandparents Harry and Luella Kehres.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday September 23, 2023 at Fleming-Billman Funeral Home, 49 W. Jefferson Street, Jefferson, Ohio; calling hours 5:00-7:00 with funeral services starting at 7:00.  He will be laid to rest in Oakdale Cemetery on Sunday September 24th, 2023.
