Judith Shupp

Judith L. Shupp, 88, a long-time resident of Willoughby, passed away on May 7, 2026, at Maplewood at Chardon, where she had resided since January. She was born June 29, 1937, in Cleveland, the daughter of Robert and Marguerite (Dary) Shupp.

Graduating in 1955 from Charles F. Brush High School and later from Case Western Reserve University, she also earned degrees from Miami University. She was a Jennings Scholar and active in Delta Kappa Gamma, Selta Credit Union, and South-Euclid Lyndhurst Teacher Association.

She made many long-time friends and kept in touch with them, even after retirement. Alongside her friend Alice Kalonick, she enjoyed bowling and community activities.

Judith was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her brother Robert A. (Catherine) Shupp, and sisters Barbara Rees and Constance Shupp, as well as 11 nieces and nephews.

There will be no funeral service or calling hours. Burial will take place in Bucyrus, Ohio, alongside her parents at a later date.
