Joyce Paulette Kellogg, 80, passed away unexpectedly on January 3rd, 2023, at her home in Ashtabula, Ohio.
She was born on December 22nd, 1942, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Paul and Ruth (Grieger) Johnson.
Joyce graduated from Pennsbury High School in 1960, she continued with her education by attending Upsala College in New Jersey where she received her bachelor’s degree in Biology.
On December 17th, 1966, Joyce married the love of her life, Michael Kellogg; they shared forty-eight wonderful years of marriage together before his passing in June of 2015.
Joyce was employed at Walmart where she worked in the Crafts and Fabric Department. She was a devoted member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Ashtabula.
Joyce had many interests, she enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting, gardening and she was a very talented seamstress.
She is survived by her loving children: Sherri McBride, Kirsten (Todd Tyloch) and Thomas (Kim) Kellogg; her grandchildren: Kyle (Amy) McBride, Noelle (Aaron) Lawrence, Michael McBride, Danielle (Justin) Sullivan, Mariah Kellogg and Kelsey Kellogg; her great-grandchildren: Lochlan McBride, Elizabeth Sullivan and Joseph Sullivan.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Michael; her sister, Janice Rawlings and her son-in-law, Christopher McBride in 2021.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 7th, 2023, from 1:00p-3:00p with a funeral service to immediately follow at 3:00p at the Ashtabula Home of Fleming and Billman Funeral Directors, 526 W. Prospect Street in Ashtabula. Burial at Edgewood Cemetery will be announced at a later date.
