Joanne D. Stewart

Joanne D. Stewart passed away at her home on Sunday March 20, 2022 and went to meet her heavenly father as she was a strong believer and follower of Christ. She was born on May 19th, 1940, in Geneva, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Lye and Blanche D. Powell, sister Diane Krum, her first husband Duane Stewart, and her second husband John Leonard. She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Westfall (Larry J. Westfall), her grandson Jason Westfall (Alleiah Westfall), and her nephew Vince Fontana. Joanne worked many years at Carlisle’s Warehouse, South Main Diner, and Kardohely’s Family Restaurant. No services are being observed and she will be interred at Greenlawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Humane Society of Ashtabula County in her memory to help all the fur babies that need help. She enjoyed spending time watching noir movies and watching her favorite old Hollywood actors in various films. She also loved country music and keeping her house well maintained. Always the lady, she could be seen wearing her skirts, beads, and coral lipstick with a smile on her face. She will be dearly missed and will continue to be loved and remembered by her family, friends, and by so many of the kind and caring people of her favorite places she used to frequent.
