Joan was fitness-minded; including cycling (DELMAC) & competitive running. She graciously welcomed & hosted many family gatherings including clam bakes, holidays, preparing delicious meals and new recipes.  An avid reader and enjoyed listening to music, including opera, gospel and polka tunes.
