Jeffrey K. Welser

Jeffrey Keith Welser, age 71, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2026.

Jeff was born on January 14, 1955, in Ashtabula, Ohio, to Keith and Gladys Welser. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1973.

Jeff worked at Smith & Wesson and Horner Box. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially wildlife, deer, and fishing. He also enjoyed listening to baseball on the radio and following high school football and baseball.

He is survived by his son, Daniel (Sarah) Welser of Dorset, Ohio; grandchildren, Dylan Welser and Owen Welser; siblings, Debra Welser Grobe of Jefferson, Ohio, Doug (Kathy) Welser of Jacksonville, Florida, Bonnie (Dennis) Markel of Linesville, Pennsylvania, Jodi (Brian) Hall of Jefferson, Ohio, Barbra Welser of Jefferson, Ohio, and Jerry (Lisa) Welser of Conneaut, Ohio; and nieces and nephews, Lisa Hillyer, Dennis Price, Richard (Kelli) Welser, Christine (Jason) Nolan, Mathew (Kim) Welser, Andrea Hall, Amberle (Tim) Orth, Cory (Morgan) Hall, and Allison (Thomas) Purkey.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Vicky Welser, Gary Welser, and Dean Welser; brother-in-law, Bill Grobe; and great-nephew, Ryan Ellis.
