Jean Campbell Obituary

Jean Elizabeth (Ebersole)(Painter) Campbell, age 83, was born in Jefferson, Ohio on November 9, 1939. The daughter of William Lee Ebersole and Freda May (March) Ebersole.

She was employed with Jefferson Welds Plant of GE for 20 years until the plant closed. She retired from Conneaut Leather Co. after retirement, she worked at Orlando’s Golden Dawn, North Kingsville in the deli until the age of 78. She was known for her lady locks and Nut rolls, so many requested for Open houses, parties, and weddings, she also enjoyed outside mowing, flowers, and bird watching.

She is survived by her two sons, William (Darla) Painter, Glenn (Donna) Painter. Sisters Mary Jane Hines, JoAnn Ellsworth, and Judy Ebersole (CJ Metcalf) two sisters-in-laws Nancy Ebersole and Carole Ebersol. Grandchildren Kimberly (George) Mansfield, Courtney Smith, Kyle Painter, and Aaron Painter. Three great grandsons Oliver and Augustus Mansfield, Keaton smith and many nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Freda Ebersol, her first husband Ronald Painter on 11-13-82, second husband Thomas E. Campbell on 10-13-21, brothers Joseph Ebersole and Robert Ebersole.

A private service and burial are going to be held with the family. Contributions can be made to the Jefferson United Methodist Church, Jefferson Emergency Rescue Department, or the Jefferson Fire Department. The family wishes to thank the Jefferson Emergency rescue Department, Dr. Pattelli and Staff, and Hospice of the Western Reserve.
