Javier Piñon-Clay

Javier, 23, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024. 

He was born in Painesville, Ohio, on September 21, 2000; the son of Marcos Piñon and Trista Wright. 

Javier graduated from Willoughby South High School in 2019. Javier appreciated nature, whether he was fishing, spending time on the water, or enjoying the simple company of friends. He found peace outdoors and always noticed the little things others might miss.

Javier is survived by his parents, Marcos Piñon and Trista Wright, and his sister, Melina Cruz.

His kind heart touched many lives, and his influence will be felt by everyone fortunate enough to know him. His love for the overlooked and unappreciated was admired and cherished, and his absence leaves a void that cannot be filled. He will be missed beyond words.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. with memorial service to follow at 6:00 p.m. at Fleming & Billman Funeral Home, 323 South Broadway Geneva, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

Javier's legacy will be one of unconditional love and boundless forgiveness. He showed us how to embrace our humanity, to care for one another, and to offer hope even in the most challenging times. His family hopes his story will inspire others to be as compassionate and kind as he was.
