Janis Louise (Cutlip) Fleissner

Janis Louise (Cutlip) Fleissner, 78, passed away unexpectedly on the morning of May 12, 2021 at her home in Ashtabula, Ohio. 

Janis was born on July 27, 1942 in Ashtabula, Ohio, the daughter of Ralph and Audra (Colvin) Cutlip. 

Janis graduated from Ashtabula High School in 1960.  She married the love of her life, Robert H. Fleissner on June 11, 1965.  Janis was employed by Zehrco-Giancola for 21 years.  Janis enjoyed bowling, gardening and working out at Premiere Fitness.  Her true passion and source of happiness was spending quality time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.   

Janis is survived by her loving children, Audra (Brian) Amreihn of Stow and Glenn Fleissner of Ashtabula, her grandchildren: Christian, Gavin, Anthony and Molly and 4 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, Ralph Fleissner; her siblings: Ardis (Jerry) DuVaul, Glenis (Ross “Skip”) Caudill and Ralph Cutlip.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, May 16th, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Ashtabula Funeral Home of Fleming Billman, 526 W. Prospect Road.  Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 17th at 11:00 a.m. at The Chapel at Greenlawn.
