Janice M. Bienko

Janice M. Bienko, 86, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2023, at her home in Jefferson, Ohio.

She was born on September 28, 1936, in Jefferson, Ohio, the daughter of Paul and Melba (Hall) Welser Sr.

Janice was a homemaker who took great pride in keeping a beautiful home for her husband Ronald, whom she married on November 3rd, 1956, and their two children.

She was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Ashtabula. She enjoyed puzzles, reading and visiting Amish Country. She loved feeding the birds and bird watching, especially her favorite, the cardinal.

She is survived by her children, Kelly A. Shears and Scott (Elena) Bienko; her grandchildren, Courtney M. Shears and Shelby Bienko; her siblings, Marilyn Hezebicks and Kimberly (Tim) Creedon; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ronald M. Bienko and her brother, Paul Welser Jr.

She was laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at a private family service.
