Jane C. Sironen, 94 of Ashtabula died Saturday at her home. She was born February 16, 1926 in Ashtabula the daughter of Cecil and Edna (Bliss) Warren and has been a lifetime area resident.
She had worked as a cook for the Ashtabula Area City School system until her retirement in 1986
She was a member of Our Lady of Peace, St. Joseph Church in Ashtabula. She enjoyed cooking for her family; being outdoors but most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving her is her daughter, Cheryl (Louis) Notarianni of Ashtabula; two granddaughters, Tamara (John) Melnik of Ashtabula and Trisha (Jason) Mitchell of Ashtabula; three great grandchildren, Jonathon, Danielle and Cameron; a brother, James P. Warren of Ashtabula and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Wayne in 1991; two sisters, Rosella Pilkington and Doris Welser; a brother, Charles E. Warren; a niece Peggy Warren and a great niece Janelle.
A funeral mass will be Friday (Oct. 9th) at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Peace, St. Joseph Church, 3312 Lake Ave. Ashtabula, Ohio with burial in Edgewood Cemetery.
