Jane A. Luke

Jane A. Luke 91 of North Kingsville died Monday (Nov. 23rd) at her home surrounded by her family. She was born October 11, 1929 in Whittier, California the daughter of John and Ethel (Hines) Herboldsheimer.

She graduated from Windsor High School and attended Kent State University. She had been the director of nursing at the Ashtabula Medicare Nursing Center until her retirement.

She is a member of the Kingsville First Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading and playing games.

Surviving her are her children, David (Patricia) Russell of North Kingsville, Stephanie (Dan) Zeleski of North Kingsville, Valerie Early of North Kingsville, Melanie (Carl) Campbell of Madison and Gloria Greenwood of Newark, Vermont; nineteen grandchildren, many great grandchildren; a brother, John  Herboldsheimer of Potter, Nebraska and a sister, Coral Rapp of Sidney, Nebraska. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert in 2010; a son, Robert G. Luke; a daughter, Kathryn Davis; three brothers, Walter, Daniel and Archie and two sisters, Alice Chaon, Charlotte Steffins.

Private graveside service was held at Saybrook Township Cemetery.
