James Allen Marrison

James A. Marrison, age 80, Austinburg, died Thursday, 12/24/20 at the Ashtabula Co. Medical Center.

He was born March 31, 1940 in Ashtabula, the son of John W. & Helen M. (Ciepiel) Marrison, Sr. and has been an area resident all of his life.  James was a retired employee of Geneva Contractors.

He is a retired member of Teamsters Local #377 and former member of the Ashtabula Moose & Eagles Clubs.  He enjoyed his vegetable gardening and always giving vegetable’s away.  He was an accomplished bowler, having several 300 games and consistently took in stray pets and cared for them.

James is survived by a sister, Marilyn Wiley of Ashtabula; a brother, Walter (Judy) Marrison of Austinburg and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.  His parents and a brother, John “Jack” Marrison, Jr. preceded him in death.
