Irwin V. Miner

(1/7/33-11/24/24) Irwin V. Miner, 91, passed away peacefully at his residence at Clearview Latern Suites in Warren, Ohio on November 24, 2024, with his loving family by his side. Irwin married his late wife, Judy on May 1, 1971. They resided in Cortland, OH for many years. Irwin ran a tax office out of his home and was known as the “man who waved to strangers”. Irwin later moved into an assisted living facility where he made many friends and enjoyed participating in many activities. Irwin retired from Copperweld Steel Mill in Warren, after being a crane operator for many years. Irwin had four children: the late Irwin P. Miner, Robert Miner (Lynne), Robin Miner and Roger Miner and four stepchildren: the late Martin Corson, Jeff Corson, Juanita Thomas and James Corson. He also had 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and was “Grandpa” to many more. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday morning at 11:00 in the chapel of Hillside Cemetery, 4175 McCleary Jacoby Cortland, Ohio.  Family will greet guests from 10:30-11 at the chapel.  For additional information www.fleming-billman.com
