Ida Mae Rogers, 93, passed away December 9, 2022 in UH Cleveland Medical Center.
She was born in Ashtabula on December 22, 1928, the daughter of Russell and Evelyn (Allen) Lewis.
Ida Mae graduated from Ashtabula High School in 1946. In 1948 she married Calvin Nordquest; they had 4 children and then very suddenly and unexpectedly he passed away 10 years later in 1958. A few years later she married Harry Pollock, together they had 1 child and Harry stepped in and helped raise her 4 young children, that he loved as if they were his own. Harry passed away in 1988. She was blessed to find love one final time and in 1990 she married Robert Rogers.
She enjoyed so many things in her beautiful 93 years of life; crafts, sewing, quilting, traveling, shopping and her membership in the ladies Red Hat Society. She will always be remembered as a kind and loving mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt and friend.
She is survived by her loving family: her children: Bonita (Dennis) Russell, Thomas (Belinda) Nordquest, Larry (Irene) Nordquest, and Tamara Pollock; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband’s Calvin, Harry, and Robert; her daughter Janet (David) Tinney; her grandsons Jason Tinney and Calvin Nordquest her sisters: Trudy Hanhilammi, LaVaughn Bloom and Rheta Phillips.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 5:00-7:00 and Tuesday morning from 11:00-12:00 at Fleming-Billman Funeral Home, 526 W. Prospect Road Ashtabula. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 12:00 at the funeral home; burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery
