Glenn Covell

Glenn Covell, 91, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2023, at Jefferson Healthcare in Jefferson, Ohio.

He was born on February 4, 1932, in Geneva, Ohio, the son of Russell R. and Jeanette (Kendall) Covell.

After graduating from high school, Glenn proudly served his country by enlisting in the United States Army.

On September 28, 1957, Glenn married the love of his life, Dorothy Bartraum, they shared sixty-five wonderful years of marriage together.

Glenn worked for many years as a Foreman for Namco Controls.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Covell; his beloved children, Dale Covell and Darlene (Doug) Sprister; his sister, Joyce Zigmont; his grandchildren: Amanda, Kendall (Elissia) and Aaron and his great-grandchildren: Charles II, Blake, Cooper, Brooklin, Oliver, Owen, Summer and Mason.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Bill and Don Covell.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Dorset Cemetery in Dorset, Ohio.
