Glenda Rae (Spangler) Graham

Glenda Rae (Spangler) Graham, 88, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2024, at her home in Jefferson, Ohio, with her son, Steven by her side.

She was born on August 1, 1935, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Charles E. and Isabel M. (Rex) Spangler.

On June 1, 1957, Glenda married Rondie L. Graham, they shared forty-six wonderful years of marriage together until his passing in the summer of 2003.

Glenda worked for the Mentor Public Schools System for twenty-two years, she was the “lunch lady” at Hopkins Elementary School until her retirement in 1994.

She enjoyed doing all sorts of crafts, gardening and sewing. She was a member of the Jefferson United Methodist Church in Jefferson, Ohio.

She is survived by her loving children: Rondie M. Graham, Michael D. Graham and Steven D. (Heather) Graham; her grandchildren: Elizabeth (Logan), Joseph, Victoria, Jessica (Shad), Steven II, Christian and Isabella and her two great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Isabel Spangler; her husband, Rondie L. Graham and her brothers, Edward and Donald Spangler.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 13, 2024, from 4:00p - 7:00p at Fleming and Billman Funeral Home, 49 West Jefferson Street in Jefferson, Ohio. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 10:30a at the funeral home; immediately following the service Glenda will be laid to rest in Oakdale Cemetery.
