JEFFERSON - Georgia Marie Bennett, 72, passed away at her home on January 25, 2021
She was born in Dubois, PA on July 31, 1948 the daughter of George and Alta (Monks) Ashenfelter.
On December 10, 1965 she married Robert W. Bennett in Big Run, PA. Together they celebrated 54 years of marriage until his passing on April 11, 2019.
Georgia was lucky enough to be able to be a homemaker for the majority of her life and raise her son while her husband worked. She enjoyed the outdoors: gardening and fishing; she loved animals, especially her dogs; Georgia was an excellent cook; she also enjoyed crocheting. Her world revolved around her four favorite men: her husband Robert, her son Thomas and her grandsons Kyle and Austin.
She is survived by her son Thomas and his wife Angela; her grandson Kyle Bennett and Austin "AJ" Bennett and her step-grandchildren:Tim and Bruce Kirk and her step-great-grandchildren Brantley and Bailey Kirk; as well as her brother Bob Ashenfelter.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Robert.
The family is honoring Georgia's wishes and no public services will be held.
