George S. Arnold, 84, passed away unexpectedly on July 2, 2022, in Williamsfield, Ohio.
George was born on August 28, 1938, in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Edward T. and Dorthula M. (Dadey) Arnold.
George graduated from Collinwood High School in Cleveland, Ohio in 1956.
On October 1, 1960, George married the love of his life, Beatrice “Bea” Taylor, they shared sixty-one years of wonderful marriage together and George and Bea had a life that revolved around their beautiful family.
George worked for C.E.I. for thirty-seven years as a mechanic and dispatcher until his retirement in 1997.
He had many interests and hobbies: he was a devoted member of the Ashtabula 4H Club for more than sixty-four years and he was inducted into the 4H Hall of Fame in 2009. George loved woodworking, bowling and being a Judge at local and state fairs. He was also a member of the Ashtabula County Antique Engine Club in Williamsfield, Ohio.
He is survived by his loving wife, Beatrice (Taylor) Arnold, his children: Roger Arnold, Scott Arnold, Gayle (Brian) Mehalic and Keith (Kim) Arnold, his grandchildren: Tiffany (John Rizzo) Arnold, Kristi Arnold, Brian (Bria) Mehalic, Brandon Arnold, Zachary Mehalic, Andrew Mehalic and Amanda (Michael Daye) Hoyt and his great-grandchildren: Kayla Ackley, Vincent Rizzo, Viviana Rizzo, Mina Arnold and Bryn Mehalic and his sister, Jane Pestke
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Dorthula Arnold.
