Eva Mary (Kenneally) Shuss, 85, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on November 4, 2023, at her home in Rock Creek, Ohio.
She was born on February 25, 1938, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Robert and Eva (Groh) Kenneally.
Eva graduated from Notre Dame High School in Cleveland, Ohio and went on to attend two years of college where she received a degree in Business Management.
For several years Eva worked at the Lake County Memorial Hospital (Lake West); she also taught at the Cleveland Medical Dental Institute and managed the office of Dr. Sailors.
Eva was a dedicated member of St. Justin’s Martyr in Eastlake, the Sacred Heart Church in Rock Creek and the Irish American Club.
Eva enjoyed crocheting, tending to her flower gardens and camping; she spent over ten years at the Heritage Hills Campground where wonderful memories were created with her family and friends.
Eva is survived by her beloved children: Eva M. (Greg) Walsh, Leo Shuss, Jr., Michael Shuss, Daniel Shuss and Erin Soukup; her loving grandchildren: Jessica (Dan) Visger, Rachel (Harrison) Reynolds, Mystica (Jeff) Swartz, Matthew Shuss, Mikayla Shuss, Taryne Shuss, Nicole Soukup and Katie (Dave) Forgus and her ten great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leo Shuss and her siblings: Roberta McIntyre, Patricia, Robert and Adam Kenneally.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. at the Fleming and Billman Funeral Home, 49 West Jefferson Street in Jefferson, Ohio.
