Emma F. Holcomb

Emma Holcomb, 66, passed peacefully, yet unexpectedly, in her sleep on Saturday March 19, 2022.

She was born on July 13, 1955, in Knoxville, Tennessee the daughter of Kay and Dorothy (Merideth) Johnson.

Those who truly got to know Emma knew that she had a heart of gold, and that she would do anything for her family and friends.  She was a loving mom, grandma, sister, niece, and aunt.  Emma enjoyed interior decorating, socializing with neighbors and friends, and watching old westerns on TV.

She is survived by her loving family: her daughter Lisa (Robert) Downes; 5 grandchildren: Steven, Gracie, Robin, Robbie, and Nikki; her sister Debbie Turano; her uncle Herman Meredith; her nieces Ann (Chris) Cimino and Angie Turano; her nephew Joseph (Ruth) Turano; her cousin Molly Meridieth; and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Dorothy and Kay Johnson; her daughter Amanda Holcomb and her brothers Arthur and Andrew Johnson in infancy.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022, from 1:00p-2:00p at Fleming and Billman Funeral Home, 526 W. Prospect Rd. Ashtabula.
