On Saturday, November 1, 2025, Elizabeth “Libby” Ann (Long) Addair was called home to be with the angels.

Libby was born in Paintsville, Kentucky, to Jake Edward and Lora (Ratliff) Long.

She retired from Reliance Electric after many dedicated years of service. A talented and creative soul, Libby enjoyed making beautiful cakes, quilting, and sewing. Most of all, she cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, each one bringing a special sparkle to her eyes.

She is survived by her sons, Roland Dean Addair (Elaine Kelly) and Keith O. Addair (Jennifer); grandchildren Lourieann (Butts) Mason (Jason), Jerrod L. Addair Sr. (Stephanie), Cody O. Addair (Katelyn Bowers), Leanna E. Addair (Howard Ferrenberg Jr.), Matthew VanNorman (Sara Febel), Derek VanNorman, and Jillian Dick; great-grandchildren Calli Mason, Gianna Mason, Recruit Jerrod Addair Jr., Cameron Addair, Riley Addair, Matthew Covell, Spencer Addair, Sawyer Addair, Alice Ferrenberg, Makenzie VanNorman, Zackary VanNorman, and Tristan VanNorman; daughter-in-law Debbie Addair. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Libby was preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, Roland O. Addair; daughter Deborah Lynn (Addair) Butts; son-in-law Douglas Lynn Butts; parents Jake Edward and Lora (Ratliff) Long; brothers Charles Douglas Long and James Earl Long; and sisters Virginia (Long) Hunt, Rebecca (Long) Shannon, and Juanita (Long) Mullins.

Her warmth, kindness, and creativity will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, November 5, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Thursday, November 6, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Fleming & Billman Funeral Home, 526 W. Prospect Rd., Ashtabula, Ohio. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens in North Kingsville.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve in her memory. Fleming & Billman Funeral Home is honored to serve the Elizabeth Addair family.
