Edwin E. Cook, age 88 of Conneaut, died Friday morning at the UH-Ahuja Medical Center in Cleveland following complications of Covid-19.
He was born July 15, 1932 in Bradford, PA, the son of Lloyd & Esther (See) Cook and lived his early life in this area before moving to California in 1952, spending most of his years in California and a few years in Arizona, returning to Conneaut in 2016. Edwin was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving in the Korean Conflict.
Edwin is a retired window washer for American Building Maintenance in Los Angeles. He took pride in his work and Los Angeles Magazine and did an article on him washing windows at the Equitable Building. He enjoyed hunting and the outdoors.
Survivors include his wife, Eleanor (Lecci) Cook; two sons, Randy E. Cook of Conneaut & Russell L. Cook of Anaheim, CA; a grandson, Tyler Cook of Cincinnati and a sister, Esther Brown. His parents; sister, Patricia and brothers, Richard, Robert & James all preceded him in death.
Edwin’s request was to be cremated and have his ashes interred at Roy Rodgers Cemetery-Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Napa Valley, CA. No other services will be held.
