Dorothy "Jeanne" Rea

Dorothy Jean “Jeanne” (Shaw ) Rea 77 of Ashtabula died Tuesday (Dec. 28th) at Lake Pointe Rehab Center in Conneaut, Ohio. She was born July 13, 1944 in Conneaut, Ohio the daughter of Edward and Dorothy (Garrity) Shaw.

She is a member of Our Lady of Peace, St Joseph Church.

Jeanne enjoyed feeding and watching birds, gardening and she loved yardwork.

Surviving her is a son, Thomas P. (Vicki) Rea; a daughter, Sheri (Russ) Davis; a grandson, Jody T. (Megan) Bancroft; two granddaughters, Jacquelyn (David) Castrilla and Amanda (Grant) Ott; seven great grandchildren, Jordan, Jayden, Jarren, Jaymeson, Jaxson Castrilla, Olivia Bancroft and Ava Ott; a sister Patricia Shaw Wright and special friends, Becky (Brian) McCrone. She was preceded in death by her parents; her step father Harry Scott and her husband, Thomas L. Rea.

Graveside service will be on Friday (Dec. 31st) at 11:00 AM at Oakdale Cemetery in Jefferson, Ohio with Rev. Father Raymond Thomas officiating.
