Doris Ann Crudele

Doris Ann Crudele, 90, passed away on March 8, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Doris was born on July 11, 1933 the daughter of George and Edith (Farman) Donatone.

After graduating from Edgewood high school Doris married the love of her life, Benjamin Crudele on September 1, 1951. They shared 60 years together until his passing in 2011. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Doris also loved her Boston terriers, who she raised for years and spending time with her family and friends.

Doris is survived by her children: Kathy Crudele, Susan (Phil) Bogdan, and Sally (David) VanLoocke; grandchildren: Heather (Jeff) Dennison, Andy (Sarah) VanLoocke, Katie Bogdan, Hanna VanLoocke, Paul Bogdan, and Juliet Bogdan; 9 great grandchildren; and her siblings, Marguerite Whitney and Jean Donatone.

She is preceded in death by husband, her son Gary (Helen) Crudele, sister, Charlotte Britcher and her parents.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, March 16 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with service to begin at 12:00pm at Fleming & Billman Funeral Home, 526 W Prospect Rd, Ashtabula, Ohio. Doris will be laid to rest at Edgewood Cemetery following the funeral service.
