Donna G. Isenberg

Donna G. Isenberg, 88, passed away on April 14, 2023, from complications of injuries sustained in a car accident in February.

She was born in Lenox Township on January 31, 1935, the daughter of Marvin and Evelyn (Bogan) Heaton.

She was a 1953 graduate of Geneva High School.  She was the loving wife of Ronald Isenberg.  Donna was so very proud of her children and grandchildren.  She was the glue that kept her family together and she will be so very dearly missed by her entire family.

She worked for Western Reserve for 18 years in the business office.  She was an avid reader, she was the treasurer of T.O.P.S, Silver Sneakers and loved to swim at the Ashtabula YMCA; she also enjoyed attending the Bible Study Class at Eagleville Church. 

She is survived by her loving children: David Isenberg, Daniel (Debbie) Isenberg, Cathy Isenberg, and Ronald “Jamie” (Beth) Isenberg; her grandchildren: Tom (Jamie Lyn) McClure, Kristen McClure, Andrew McClure, Joe Isenberg, and Evelyn Isenberg; great-grandchildren: Zachary, Daniel, Matthew, Logan Arya, Arwen and Owen; she absolutely adored all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her siblings, Barbara Gildersleeve and Larry Heaton; as well as many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews that they all called “Grandma”.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ron in 2002; her grandson Shawn McClure and her siblings: Pauline Phillips, Marvin "Phil" Heaton and Patricia Layman.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 10:00a-12:00p with a funeral service to follow at 12:00p at Fleming and Billman Funeral Home, 49 West Jefferson Street in Jefferson. Burial will follow in Dart Cemetery.
