Diane (Schaefer) Scarberry

Diane Scarberry, 79, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025.

She was born on July 4, 1946, in Buffalo, New York, the daughter of Raymond and Helen (Olkowski) Schaefer.

After graduating from high school, Diane attended nursing school and became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). She took great pride in her profession and spent her career caring for others with compassion, patience, and kindness.

Diane found her greatest joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved gardening, and spending time outdoors, often surrounded by animals and the hummingbirds she so enjoyed watching. Above all, Diane cherished time spent with her family. She loved being together with her children and took special delight in her grandchildren,

She is survived by her children: Diane (Steve Becher) Grunthaner, Elena (Joe) Perricellia, Lynnette Best, and Victoria Wilson; and her beloved grandchildren: Patrick, Denise, Krista, Macy, Bella, Emma, and Brooke, all of whom brought her immense pride and happiness.

Diane was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ronald, in 2019, and by her parents.

In honor of her wishes, no public services will be held.
