Dennis Blair Ridenour Sr.

Dennis Blair Ridenour Sr., 67, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2021 at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. 

Dennis was born on March 19, 1954 in Roaring Springs, Pennsylvania, the son of Victor and Harriet (Allison) Ridenour.

Dennis married the love of his life Rebecca “Becky” Chike on July 6, 1972.  Dennis was employed by Ashtabula Rubber for more than 20 years and Earthtech for greater than 10 years.

Dennis had many interests and hobbies; he enjoyed auto racing, spending time at Raceway 7 and Thompson Raceway.  He also enjoyed fishing, grilling and gambling at casinos. His true source of happiness and joy was spending quality time with his family.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife Becky, his children: Dennis (Dina) Ridenour, Fannie (Jim) DeMark, Lynn (Theresa) Ridenour and Wendy (Thomas) Beresford; his siblings: Dale (Linda) Ridenour, Sarah Burkhardt, Victor (Judy) Ridenour, Carol Clapper and Homer (Anna) Ridenour; fifteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his son Levi on March 25th, 2000, his siblings: Louise, Fannie, Leroy, Art, Joyce and John and his brother-in-law Joe Burkhardt.

Services to celebrate Dennis’s life will be held on July 11th, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at his son Dennis’s home located at 772 Black Sea Road, Jefferson, Ohio.
