Debra “Debbie” Anne Boyles, 72, passed away on September 30, 2025.
Born on March 28, 1953, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of Will and Annabelle (Jones) McGaha.
Debra moved to Ashtabula in 1986 with her four children. A determined and hardworking woman, she put herself through college while working two jobs to raise her family. In 1992, she met the love of her life, Kenneth Boyles, and they married on September 13, 2003. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love and laughter.
She was a proud member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #1463 and First Baptist Church of Ashtabula. Debra loved cheering on the Browns and the Indians, spending time with her family, gambling, doing puzzles, reading, and playing on her iPad. Debra worked as a TBI Coach and Program Manager at Goodwill Industries, retiring after 21 years of dedicated service.
She is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Boyles; her children: Keith (Joy) McGaha, Eldridge McGaha, Pebbles (Cean) Frey, and Sheila Scardino; stepchildren: Gregory (Rosemary) Boyles, Mark (Lucero) Boyles, Curtis Boyles, Theresa (James) Connors, and Kevin (Toni) Boyles; grandchildren: Dustin Roby, Cody Frey, Cheyenne Frey, Matthew McGaha, Cassidy McGaha, Alyssa McGaha, Elizabeth Scardino, and Alexis Scardino; nine step-grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren; her siblings: Gary (Polly) Jones, Patricia (Edward) Deditch, and Aaron Reid.
Debra was preceded in death by her beloved dog Lulu; her sister, Sheila Potts; her brother, Keith McGaha; and her parents.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Fleming-Billman Funeral Home, 526 W. Prospect Rd., Ashtabula, OH. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
