David A. Nugent

David A. Nugent, 77, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024. He was born on April 25, 1947; the son of Francis T. Nugent and Vera (Rooks) Tyger.

David graduated from Ashtabula High School the class of 1965. He went on to marry the love of his life, Judith (Gregor) Nugent on June 27, 1970. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and spending time with his family. He attended Ashtabula Pentecostal Church of God for several years.

David is survived by his wife of 54 years, Judith Nugent; his children: Marc E. Nugent, Jason A. Nugent, and Kelly L. Welton; his 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; and his siblings: Keith, Mike, Kevin, Tim, Cindy, Jackie, Patty and Becky. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Micah Nugent and his parents.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 12 from 10:00am to 12:00pm with funeral service to follow at 12:00pm at Fleming & Billman Funeral Home 526 W. Prospect Rd. Ashtabula, Ohio. David will be laid to rest on Wednesday, August 14 at 1:00pm at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
