Darla Rae Keesler

Darla Rae Keesler, 72, passed away on August 9, 2023, at the David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland, Ohio.

She was born on July 5, 1951, in Ashtabula, Ohio, the daughter of John D. and Audrey A. (Scoville) Chapman.

Darla graduated from Riverside High School in 1969; she continued on with her education by attending Lakeland Community College.

On May 31, 1986, Darla married the love of her life, Edward Ray Keesler; they recently celebrated their thirty-seventh wedding anniversary.

Darla worked for many years as a Press Operator at the Painesville Telegraph.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, doing puzzles and gardening, especially tending to her beautiful rose garden.

She is survived by her loving husband, Edward R. Keesler; her beloved daughters, Brandy (Nicholas) Fobell and Tammy (Tim) Hochschild and her grandson, Ryker Fobell.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her dog, Shellie.

Graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery’s Mausoleum Chapel.
