Dale Edward Dodd

Dale Edward Dodd, 79, passed away on February 21, 2023, at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.

He was born on June 29, 1943 in Geneva, Ohio, the son of John and Lorna (McClintock) Dodd.

On April 30, 1966, Dale married his beautiful bride, Judy Lea Hoover; they shared fifty-six wonderful years of marriage together and made many everlasting memories.

Dale worked as a Truck Driver and agricultural mechanic until his retirement in 2001. 

Dale enjoyed agriculture, bowling, playing cards and sharing stories. He also found happiness and joy in spending time with his grandchildren, whom he loved dearly.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Dodd, his beloved children: Cheryl (Marty) Speiser and Cindy (Roy) Massie; his grandchildren: Eric Massie (Amber Stewart), Adam Speiser and Troy Speiser; his sister, Linda (Keith) Lepke and sisters-in-law Jane Dodd and Joyce Hill; his brother-in-law Carl Hoover and several cousins and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Richard Dodd.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 12:00p-2:00p with a funeral service to immediately follow at 2:00p at Fleming and Billman Funeral Home, 49 West Jefferson Street in Jefferson, Ohio.  A luncheon will immediately follow the funeral service at Lenox Christian Fellowship on Lenox New Lyme Rd.
