Cynthia L. Steward, 68 of Ashtabula died Sunday (June 7th) at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. She was born March 16, 1952 in Ashtabula the daughter of Edward and Dorothy (Bell) Harper and has been a lifetime area resident.
She was a 1970 graduate of Ashtabula High School and had been employed with Giant Eagle in the Deli department until her retirement.
She enjoyed arts and crafts, watching birds and she always like trying new recipes.
Surviving her is her sister, Lois Kelly of Ashtabula; three nieces, Sharon Blank, Maddy Steward and Halley Steward and seven great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, James P. Steward in 2017.
Cindy’s wishes were that there would be no services. Memorial contributions can be made to the Animal Protective League, 5970 Green Rd. Ashtabula, Ohio 44004.
