Cynthia “Cindy” Woodring (Bates) was born on January 15, 1958, and spent her life as a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and caretaker. She passed away on July 30, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, joy, and compassion that will live on forever.
Cindy is survived by her beloved partner, Bobby Abrams, and her cherished daughters, Carrie Bates and Kristy Bates. She will be deeply missed by her treasured grandchildren: Tyler, Zachary, Trinity, Katie, Brandon, and Samantha, and her adored great-grandchildren: Avery, Charlie, Paisley, Paxton, Alen, Cheyenne.
She is also survived by her loving siblings: Kenny Woodring (Lynn), Jimmy Woodring (Sylvia), Kathy (Woodring) Dioneff (Jamie), Adam Green (Tammy), and Kelly Green.
She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Woodring; her mother, Barbara Green; her grandparents; and her son-in-law, Greg Moody.
Cindy devoted her life to caring for others through her work in in-home care—a true reflection of her generous heart and nurturing spirit. She had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and loved, always sharing a warm smile and kind words with those around her. Her love for music, dancing, and singing brought joy to every gathering, especially when surrounded by her family—her greatest treasure. Cindy’s unwavering positivity, warmth, and unconditional love made her not just “Mom” and “Grandma” to her family, but to many others who were lucky enough to know her.
Her light will continue to shine in every life she touched.
