Christine Lenore (Janendo) Adams

Christine Lenore (Janendo) Adams, 73 of Kingsville Ohio, passed away March 31, 2022 at home under the compassionate care of Hospice of Western Reserve.

She was born in Ashtabula on May 12, 1948, the daughter of Hubert and Margaret (Barnett) Janendo.

Christine graduated from Edgewood High School in 1966.  She married Edward Adams on June 24, 1967, and together they have been blessed with almost 55 years of marriage.

She was active with her son Gary in all the Special Olympic events, and every Saturday was spent bowling with Ashcraft. She also was an avid bowler herself, bowling many years on a women’s league, as well as a lover of reading-she was always with a book in hand. She enjoyed all her grandchildren’s sporting and school events, family picnics, and sitting at the Lake Shore Park with Ed in the mornings eating breakfast and feeding the seagulls.

She is survived by her loving husband Ed; her five children, that Christine felt blessed to be the mother of: Gary Adams, Joan Adams (David Gugliemo) Nancy Howard (Sam), Cynthia Adams (Bernie Liocano), Amy Hurst (Craig); she loved being a grandmother to her six grandchildren that she absolutely adored:  Meghan, Gregory, Michael, Olivia, Molly, and Keagan; and Great-grandmother to Gabriella and Kamden.

She is predeceased by her parents Margaret and Hubert Janendo and her stepfather Joseph Wallace.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Western Reserve for taking such great care of their loved one for the last year and a half.

Services will be held at Fleming & Billman Funeral Home, 526 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula on Tuesday April 5, 2022, calling hours from 11:00-1:00 and funeral services starting at 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.  Donations to Ashcraft or Special Olympics in her memory.
