Cheryl Murphy Obituary

Cheryl A. Murphy, age 56 of Ashtabula, died Sunday morning at the Ashtabula Co. Medical Center following complications of Covid-19.

She was born July 17, 1964 in Ashtabula, the daughter of the late Richard J. & Muriel “Sue” (Zimmerman) Murphy and has resided in Ashtabula County, other than spending 12 years with the United States Air Force and living seven years in Dallas, TX.  Cheryl received her associate’s degree from Kent State University.

She was a member of the Jefferson United Methodist Church and supported all related church activities and projects.  She enjoyed target shooting and baking, rides on her husband’s motorcycle and spending time with her granddaughter.

Survivors include her husband, Ike T. Perez; a son, Sean K. (Tina) Crowell of Peyton, CO; a granddaughter, Mila Crowell and two brothers, Terry (Nancy) Murphy in Eagle River, AK & Brian (Betty) Murphy in Crystal River, FL.

A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the Jefferson United Methodist Church, 125 E.
