Charles "Chuck" Spurlock, 61, passed away unexpectedly at home on July 29, 2023. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 31, 1961, the son of Billy Joe and Patricia (Bouska) Spurlock.
Chuck graduated in the Class of 1979 from Edgewood High School. Following graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Marines and proudly served his country.
He was a professional truck driver for over 30 years and was presently driving for Mike Phillips Trucking Company. In his free time Chuck loved watching movies and listening to classic rock and country music. He was a hard and dedicated worker who lived a quiet, simple life.
He is survived by his siblings, that he was very close with: Denise (Ron) Palma, Darryl Spurlock, Lori Bradfield, Brian Spurlock, and Jerry Spurlock; his friend and companion Sheryl Brush and her daughter Stacie, that Chuck adored.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Patrick and Roger.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023, at Fleming-Billman Funeral Home, 49 W. Jefferson Street, Jefferson; calling hours from 4:00-6:00 and funeral at 6:00. Military honors will be conducted at the funeral home.
