Carol Sprinkle, 86, passed away September 20, 2024, at Hillcrest Hospital following a short illness.
She was born on January 11, 1938, in Ashtabula, Ohio, the daughter of Raymond and Eleanor (Williams) Mullin.
Carol graduated from Ashtabula High School in 1956. On June 8, 1957, she married Donald Sprinkle, her loving and devoted husband of the past 67 years.
Carol worked in the past for Iten Industries and Nelson Manufacturing, although her main job was raising her children and caring for her family. She collected salt-and-pepper shakers, precious moments, snowmen, teapots, and bobbleheads; she loved garage sales and consignment shops. She was a member of the Jefferson Baptist Church, Compassionate Friends, and Circle of Caring.
She is survived by her husband Donald Sprinkle; her children: Kim (Daniel) Hines, Ann Clisby, Jeff (Lisa Barrett) Sprinkle, and Tammy (Terry) Strong; she was also survived by her 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, and she absolutely adored each and every one of them; her sister Judith (Ken) Lewis as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son Donald “Chip” Sprinkle in 1998, and her sister Roberta Decaire.
Funeral services are going to be held at Fleming-Billman Funeral Home; calling hours will be Friday (September 27th) from 4:00-7:00 and her funeral will be Saturday at 10:00 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Gageville Cemetery.
