Carol J. Loudermilk
Carol Jean Loudermilk, 84, of Saybrook Township died Saturday (May 22nd) at Geneva Shores in Geneva, Ohio.
She was born February 6, 1937 in Conneaut, Ohio the daughter of Walter and Margaret (Frampton) Scott and has been a lifetime area resident.
She was a 1955 graduate of Ashtabula High School. She married Robert M. Loudermilk on November 19, 1955 at the Saybrook United Methodist Church.
She had been employed with St Angelo’s Lanes, Kiraly’s Orchard and Saybrook McDonalds before her retirement.
She is a member of Saybrook United Methodist Church; the Women of the Moose, the Elks Club and former Member of the Jaycee's. She also enjoyed helping to plan her class of '55 reunions.
She loved hummingbirds and enjoyed reading, crocheting, crossword puzzles, she especially loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren who called her “Gigi”.
She and Bob loved to do Friday dinners out and trips with the gang. They called themselves the "6 Pack"
Surviving her are her four daughters, Rose Marie Freeborn, Brenda L. Sochia, Lorraine (Scott) Sears and Jennifer (Dan) Snyder; eleven grandchildren, Kendra (Brian), Gary (Stephanie), Andrea, Brandee (Kris), Conrad (Claire), Dexter (Sarah), Ethan, Emily, Cody (Mary), Logan and Zakary; six great grandchildren and two sisters, Mary (Richard) Shank and Marjorie (Don) Borner.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Robert M.; her son-in-law, Robert Sochia Sr., her parents and her stepfather, Louis Blanar.
Funeral service will be Saturday (May 29th) at 11:00 am at the Saybrook United Methodist Church 79 Depot Road, Saybrook Township with the Rev. Jeff Stoll officiating. 7900 Depot Rd Ashtabula OH 44004
Calling hours will be Friday (May 28th) from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Ashtabula Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors, 526 W. Prospect Rd. Ashtabula, Ohio.
