Beverly Jean (Adams) Hoagland

Beverly J. Hoagland, age 75 of Salem, died Tuesday evening at the Salem Regional Medical Center.

She was born October 7, 1944 in Albion, PA, the daughter of Robert & Bertha (Dundon) Adams and lived in the Jefferson area most of her life before moving to Columbiana Co. in 2002.

Beverly was an active member of the Bulah Calvary United Methodist Church and the Bible study group while living in Denmark Twp.  Her interests included horses, leatherwork, reading and crossword puzzles.

Survivors include two daughters, Jean L. (John) Buehrer of Litchfield & Jan M. (Carl) Hoagland-Canter of N. Lima; four grandchildren, Kayla & Erika Schlick and Joseph & Timothy Canter; a great-grandchild, Brayden Lehotan; a brother, Glenn Reynolds of Jefferson and three sisters, Shirley Waldera of Martinez, GA, Bessie Fuller of Keizer, OR & JoAnne Revelt of McKean, PA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles R. Hoagland in 1997; a daughter, JoAnne Hoagland in 1967 and three brothers, Robert & Richard Adams and Harry Reynolds.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 10-11 AM at the Jefferson Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson.  Social distancing will be observed during visitation.  If attending, please wear a mask.  The number of persons inside the funeral home will be limited.
