Jefferson-Beverly Ann Emerson, 86, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2026, at Ashtabula Regional Medical Center.
She was born June 30, 1940, in New Lyme, Ohio, a daughter of Lawrence and Eva (Craft) Gaines. Beverly was a proud member of the New Lyme High School Class of 1958 and worked for 24 years at Alphabet in Orwell.
Beverly was a woman of strong Christian faith and a longtime member of Lennox Christian Church.
While she enjoyed the activities and hobbies that filled her days, nothing brought her greater joy than the family she loved so deeply. Her family was truly the center of her world. She devoted her life to caring for, encouraging, and celebrating those she loved, and she took immense pride in each of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. The love she shared and the memories she created with her family will remain a lasting part of her legacy.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Mary Jane (Thomas) Miller, Michael (Margaret) Emerson, and Shannon (John) McNally; her nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and her sister, Shirley (Ike) Humphrey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved son, Alan Emerson; her sister, Sally Roth; and her brother, David Gaines.
In accordance with Beverly’s wishes, she was laid to rest during a private family service at Brownsville Cemetery.
