Betty J Seiffert, age 60, resident of Jefferson most of her life, died Unexpectedly Thursday morning at University Hospitals in Cleveland.
She was born May 21, 1961 in Cleveland, the daughter of Donald & Frances (Smith) Jones. Betty, also known by many of her friends as “Munchkins”, was a graduate of Jefferson Area High School. She was also an avid Cleveland Browns fan, loved country music and was a member of the Jefferson Eagles Aerie Lodge #3881.
Survivors include her husband, David R. Seiffert, whom she married on June 1, 1979 in Jefferson, two sons; Scott & Michael (Monica) Seiffert, six grandchildren, Zachary, Joshua, Ivory, Cashus, Nathan & Christian, two great-grandchildren; Callie & Xander, brothers; Ronald (Cheryl) Jones & Martin Jones, a sister; Arlene Hypes and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Kenneth Glover and Carl & Newton Jones and sisters; Sharon April Smith & Darlene Lengyel.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 8/28/21 at 12:00 noon at the Eagleville Bible Church, 1981 St. Rt. 45, Rock Creek with Tom Allen leading the service. Visitation will start at 10:30AM Saturday until the time of the service. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery.
