Bernadette (Kirsch) Beuck, age 75, of Willoughby, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Hillcrest Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on May 24, 1949, in Cleveland, the daughter of Howard and Bernadette (Rothgery) Kirsch. She married Gerald Robert Beuck on April 4, 1970, and they were married for 54 years. She was a graduate of Euclid High School and attended Tri-C College, where she majored in Library Science. Her most important job was being a wife and mother, and she will always be remembered as the world’s best momma. Throughout her life, she also worked at All Saints School and Sears. She loved reading and spending quality time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Bernie is survived by her husband, Gerald Beuck; daughters, Tammy Beuck, Ann Marie (Evan Harris) Webster , Elizabeth (Patrick) Gilmour; and son, Gerald H. Beuck; grandsons, Matthew Webster III, Ryan Gilmour, and Connor Gilmour; granddaughters, Alyssa Webster, Samantha Webster, and Kaylee Gilmour; great-grandchildren, Joseph Webster and Oakley Webster; brother, Howard Kirsch; sister, Rita Gillespie; and many brothers- and sisters-in-law, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Bernadette Kirsch; sister, Kathleen North; and brother, Joseph Kirsch.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
A funeral mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 22, at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Rd., Mentor. Burial will follow the mass at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation.
