Beatrice A. Knowlson

Beatrice Ann Knowlson, 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on 3/1/2020.  She was born on 11/18/1936 in Rochester, PA.  to Keith and Ella “Locke” Ely.

Bea married Bill in 1962 and later was blessed with 4 children, Bill Knowlson, Jr., Joyce Petrowski (Greg), Julie Knowlson, Susan Knowlson, and two grandchildren Alex and Madison Petrowski. She was preceded in death by her husband, and by her son, Bill, Jr.

Bea enjoyed her nursing career of over 50 years where she met many of her friends during that time.  She also loved traveling, spending time with family, friends and her many animals.  Bea attended the East Side Presbyterian Church for many years.  After retiring in 2006 moved to Phoenix AZ to spoil her grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday (March 6th) from 5 to 7 pm at Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 526 W. Prospect Rd. Ashtabula, Ohio and on Saturday from 10am – 12pm.  Then graveside service on Saturday at 3:00 pm at Little Beaver Cemetery in Enon Valley, PA.

In lieu of flowers, family ask for donations to the Ashtabula County Animal Protective League.
