Barbara Jean (Detnerski) Koski

Barbara Jean (Detnerski) Koski, 67, passed away on November 8, 2022, at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center in Chardon, Ohio.

She was born on December 30, 1954, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Joseph and Gertrude (Lawrence) Detnerski.

Barbara attended high school at St. Peter’s School and then went on to study at Cleveland State University.

Over the years, Barbara worked in manufacturing as a Corporate Auditor, a Finance Director and more recently she worked for Thompson Brother’s Excavating for twenty plus years until her retirement in 2021.

She enjoyed her work, reading and watching the Gameshow Network.

She is survived by her loving son, Joseph (Sheila) Detnerski and her grandchildren, Shane and Shelby Briody.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Koski and her brother, Brian Detnerski.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at Glenwood Cemetery in Conneaut, Ohio.
