Arthur Allen “Woody” Woodworth, 78, passed away on February 25, 2022, at his home in Dorset, Ohio.
Arthur was born on January 10, 1944, in Morgan Township, Ohio, the son of Otto A. and Lois (Barnard) Woodworth.
Arthur married the love of his life, Phyllis Burlingame on September 28, 1964, they shared fifty-seven years of wonderful marriage together.
Arthur was employed by Ritter Excavating in Rock Creek, Ohio.
He enjoyed hunting, the great outdoors and most importantly spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis Woodworth, his beloved children: Larinda L. Harnist of Jefferson, Tina M. (Jerry) Ensman of Geneva, Jodi A. (Tracey) Woodworth Sr. of Jefferson and Linda D. Dibell (Dan) of Ashtabula, his grandchildren: Mandy (Mark) Richards of Jefferson, Mathew Harnist (Ashley) of Jefferson, Shyanna (Emelia) Lindberg of Saybrook, Lacie (Scott) Gray of Jefferson, Brittany Stack (Terry) of Painesville, Kimberly Goodban of Ashtabula, Jodi (Jackie) Woodworth Jr., of Andover, Brett (Katie) Woodworth of Saybrook, Mack Woodworth of Jefferson and Morgan Staley of Ashtabula and fifteen great-grandchildren who all live in the area so they could enjoy Grandpa.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lois Carpenter and Otto A. Woodworth, his grandparents, Charles and Vera Barnard and his sister, Corolyn Abrams.
In keeping with Arthur’s wishes, no public services will be held.
