Anna Louise Pinney, a faithful servant of Jesus Christ, entered into the presence of the Lord on January 27, 2025 at Concord Village Nursing Home in Concord, Ohio, after a long illness.
The daughter of Albert and Grace (Bassett) Meade, she was born on September 28, 1928, in Aurora, Ohio. Anna married Calvin Pinney on August 4, 1947, at the First Baptist Church in Jefferson, Ohio.
She was a 1946 graduate of Jefferson High School and assisted her husband in his business operation at Sohio prior to his retirement.
Anna was a member of Geneva United Church, where she served as a deaconess and treasurer of the Memorial Committee. She was also a member of the 75 Club.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and attending stage and musical productions. Anna and Calvin always looked forward to special times with their granddaughters, Julie and Jennifer.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Calvin in 2006, her son Roger in 1997, and her sisters Evelyn Pheasant, Martha Swanson, Ruth King, Ethel Dumperth, and Mary Lou Plut; as well as her brothers James L. Meade Sr. and William Meade.
Survivors include her son, Jeffrey C. (Janet) Pinney of Novelty, Ohio; her sister, Carol (William) Evans of Green, Ohio; granddaughters Julie (Michael) Effler of Powell, Ohio, and Jennifer (Timothy) Pinney of Stafford, Virginia; and great-grandchildren Owen W. and Eva Louise Effler, and Calvin L. and Levi T. Wood. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Janice Meade Coon of Andover, Ohio, and Elizabeth Meade Badger of Massillon, Ohio, as well as her daughter-in-law Kimberly Pinney of Barberton, Ohio.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 31 from 11:00-12:00 with funeral service to begin at 12:00 at United Church of Geneva, 75 S Broadway Geneva, OH 44041. Burial to follow at Evergreen cemetery. Luncheon at the church.
