Ann "Annie" Bryan Obituary

Ann ‘Annie’ M. Bryan, 54, passed away on September 20, 2022, at the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus in Cleveland, Ohio.

Annie was born on February 19, 1968, in Geneva, Ohio, the daughter of Dixie L. Hamilton.

She graduated from Ashtabula High School in 1986. Annie continued with her education by attending Edinboro University where she received her bachelor’s degree and then attended Youngstown State University where she received her master’s degree.

On July 23, 2011, she married Curtis Bryan, they shared eleven wonderful years of marriage together.

Annie began her career in education in 1995 as an elementary school teacher, she taught for twenty-seven years and was the recipient of the Kendall Foundation Teacher of the Week Award. She also worked at Luisa’s Mexican Grill for several years and enjoyed seeing and meeting many new people that quickly became friends.

Annie loved walking the dog (Sophie) at the beach, watching the sunsets and traveling to be with her children and the many adventures that came with them. She enjoyed “Sunday Fun Day” at the local wineries and quality time with her many close friends. Her true source of happiness and joy came from spending time with her children & family; she often said her greatest accomplishment in life was raising two amazing children. Annie always worked hard, lived life to the fullest, and effortlessly left a profound positive impact on the lives of anyone that was blessed enough to know Annie.

She is survived by her mother, Dixie Hamilton, her husband, Curtis Bryan, her children: Alexis Northrop and Isaac Northrop; her stepchildren: Brandon, Alex and  Emmy Bryan.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Carl and Margaret Hamilton and her kid’s adoptive grandfather, Norman Sage.
